• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete pre‑operation inspections.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled; lock and secure vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties such as customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and stocking orders.
• Assist customers and serve as a cashier or help with merchandising tasks when business requires.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meets the company’s 14/18‑point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
