Audit Senior

Qualified accountant Your new company Hays are looking for an experienced Audit senior to join our client's team in Belfast. As an Audit Senior within a top tier firm you will be responsible for leading audit engagements and managing a team of auditors. You will be expected to provide high-quality audit services to our clients and ensure that all audit work is completed in accordance with the relevant professional standards.

Your new role Lead audit engagements and manage a team of auditors. Plan and execute audit work in accordance with the relevant professional standards. Review audit work performed by junior team members. Communicate audit findings to clients and provide recommendations for improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards.

What you'll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA). At least 3 years of experience in external audit. Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
