This company can ensure long term job security and progression opportunities for the right candidate, market leading benefits and salary" About the Job Reporting to the Financial Controller the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties Key responsibilities Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and expense claims Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial accounts & reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Prepare and post journal entries General accounting duties including management of inter-company balances, bank reconciliations, credit control and stock management Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings Updating property tenancy rental schedules, reconciling payments and follow up on outstanding balances Previous experience Previous experience working in a busy office environment Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying your ATI (Desirable) or Part Qualified Accountant For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Daryl Hunter at HireIQ in complete confidence
