Accounts Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team by ensuring accurate processing of transactions, maintaining financial records and other administrative duties.

• Assist with daily accounting tasks and data entry
• Process supplier invoices for approval, complete monthly creditor reconciliations, and prepare supplier payments
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain accurate filing of financial documents
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations

• Previous experience in a similar role including completing bank reconciliations
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (training provided)
• Good organisational skills and time-management skills
