The Opportunity

The opportunity is with a well-established and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants based in Belfast, recognised for providing expert financial services and strategic business advice. The firm offers a dynamic and collaborative working environment where team members are encouraged to grow, develop their careers, and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

The successful Qualified Accountant can expect to receive the following:

• Annual Leave: 22 days annual leave plus 11 statutory days.
• Parking at Manager level
• Pension:
  Auto-enrolment pension scheme in place.
• Bonus Scheme:
  Up to 10% annual bonus, typically paid in August and ong performers can expect the full 10%, with additional rewards available for top performers.
• Study support and exam fees covered
• Progression opportunities

You will have a wide range of duties, such as;

• Balanced workload: 50/50 split between audit and accounts
• Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
• Flexible focus:
  Option to specialise in 100% audit if preferred
• Customised role:
  Responsibilities can be tailored to match individual experience and career goals
• Collaborative environment:
  Opportunity to gain exposure across other service lines (e.g. tax, advisory) through a supportive, team-based approach

The ideal candidate will be:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified
• A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• External audit experience required - ideally gained in a Big 4 or small/mid-tier practice
• Belfast or wider UK experience preferred
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
