This position would suit an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to join a supportive, people-focused environment with strong opportunities for long-term progression. The Opportunity Joining a collaborative and highly regarded team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied workload across accounts preparation, client advisory, and tax support services. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements and accounts for a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses and local clients. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing professional and timely support on day-to-day financial queries. Assisting with advisory assignments and supporting clients with business-related projects when required. Working alongside the internal tax department on compliance matters, including preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.

Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients while delivering a high standard of service.

The Ideal Candidate To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should ideally have:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment. ACA or ACCA qualification preferred, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered. Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing accounts for a range of clients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Package & Benefits Competitive salary in the region of £40,000 £ 48,000 depending on experience.
