Legal Bookkeeper

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with our client to appoint an experienced and detail-oriented

Legal Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with experience in a legal or professional services environment who enjoys working autonomously, values accuracy, and thrives in a supportive, collaborative setting.

The Role Reporting to the Partners, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring full compliance with the Law Society and Solicitors Accounts Regulations. The practice is open to reduced / flexible hours, making this a great opportunity for someone returning to work or balancing parenting commitments. Person Specification:

Strong bookkeeping experience (ledgers, reconciliations, journals, VAT). High accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment. Able to work independently and manage strict deadlines. Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality. Comfortable learning new systems and processes. Spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience /Advantageous:
Previous legal bookkeeping experience. Handling client money (e.g. property, estate agency, professional services). Experience using One Advanced or other legal practice management system.
