Accountant, Tax Accountant, Financial Reporting

Accountant Belfast - £28,000 - £35,000 We are working with a well-established accountancy practice seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio, support junior team members, and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, acting as a primary point of contact
* Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
* Review VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
* Support clients with tax compliance, including corporation tax and personal tax
* Provide advisory support to clients
* Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing their work and assisting with development
* Ensure deadlines are met, and work is delivered to a high standard Key Requirements
* Fully qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
* 2 3 years of experience within an accountancy practice environment is essential
* Strong technical knowledge of UK/ROI accounting standards and tax regulations
* Experience managing client relationships and handling a varied workload
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
