This role is being recruited on a temporary to permanent basis and would suit candidates who are at the final stages of their professional qualifications. This is an opportunity to join a business with multiple sites across the UK & Europe, with further plans for expansion.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will work within the finance function and assume responsibility to produce the month management accounts. This will include assisting with budgeting & forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting and ad hoc project accounting.

About you

• Part-Qualified Accountant/Finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong finance experience across transactional duties and management accounts
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Strong systems skills including Advanced Excel
• Available at short notice

What you'll do

• Responsible for production of monthly and year end accounts
• Produce management reports & variance analysis
• Budgetary control
• Accruals & prepayments, preparation and posting of journals
• Ad-hoc project accounting
