Overview
As a Part‑Time Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team in the day‑to‑day running of core accounting activities. This role ensures accurate financial data, timely processing of transactions, and smooth operation of month‑end activities. You will play a key role in maintaining high‑quality financial information that supports effective reporting and decision‑making across the business. This is a part‑time role, covering 3 days / 22.5 hours per week and we are flexible on how this is managed.

Your day to day- AP processing, including timely and accurate entry of supplier invoices
- Support weekly payment runs and associated documentation
- Perform reconciliations across supplier statements, bank accounts and GL accounts
- Support prepayment and accruals accounting as part of month‑end processes
- Assist with fixed asset tracking, additions, disposals and depreciation updates
- Act as expense system administrator, supporting queries and maintaining accurate data
- Maintain organised digital finance records to meet audit and compliance standards
- Provide general administrative and finance support as required
- Experience in accounts payable, reconciliations or similar financial operations
- Understanding of prepayments, accruals and fixed asset accounting (preferred)
- Familiarity with finance systems and willingness to learn tools such as Navan
- Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Excel and general IT systems
- Well‑organised, with strong time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently across part‑time hours
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
- Eagerness to contribute to continuous improvement within the finance team
