Junior Credit Controller – Belfast
As a Junior Credit Controller at Nutreco, you will play an important role in helping our Belfast site maintain healthy cash flow, strong customer relationships and smooth day‑to‑day operations. You will join a supportive Finance team where you can build practical experience in credit control, customer accounts, payment processes and financial reporting.
What You’ll Do- Follow up on outstanding invoices and support the collection of overdue payments.
- Speak with customers to resolve invoice, payment, rebate and claim queries.
- Allocate and reconcile incoming payments accurately.
- Keep clear records of payment activity and customer communication.
- Help prepare aged debt, collection and cash‑flow reports.
- Support credit‑limit reviews and order‑release processes.
- Escalate overdue or higher‑risk accounts when needed.
- Work closely with Commercial, Logistics and Customer Services colleagues.
- Support wider Accounts Receivable and Credit Control administration.
- Early in a finance career with an interest in numbers, systems and people.
- Some experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or a similar role, or building on an internship, placement or relevant studies.
- Good Excel and IT skills, including data entry, sorting, filtering and basic reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, a proactive and resilient approach to following up on payments, and the ability to stay organised and manage deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to learn new systems; experience with ERP systems, PowerBI or InforM3 would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Employment type:
Full‑time, 6‑month fixed‑term contract
Working hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
