Accounts Assistant/ Ledger Clerk

Reed Recruitment is working with a well known and successful construction company with offices based in Belfast. Our client as an urgent requirement for an experienced Accounts Assistant/ Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is a temporary position for 3-4 weeks to cover a period of sickness and will offer weekly payment. The role is offering full time hours, and the hourly rate is £16.50- £17 per hour dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the following daily duties:

• Purchase ledger invoice processing
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Subcontractor payments
• Bank reconciliations
• General transactional accounting and administrative duties

Essential Criteria:

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience completing the above job duties
• IT Proficient to include experience in Sage Accounts
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Immediately available to undertake this role

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within the construction or engineering sector

Hours of work

• Flexible working ( core hours 10am-4pm)
• 37.5 hours per week
• Early finish of 3pm on a Friday
• Onsite role
