Assistant Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant (Immediate Start) Belfast BT8 | £35,000 £ 40,000 | Immediate Start | Flexible Hours Considered McKinty Associates is delighted to be working exclusively with a successful and growing commercial business in South Belfast to recruit an Assistant Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is available at short notice and is looking to gain valuable commercial experience within a fast-paced organisation that forms part of a well-established Northern Ireland group.

Reporting directly to an experienced Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function during a particularly busy period. While this is an office-based role, some flexibility is available, and reduced working hours will also be considered to accommodate personal commitments. What you'll be doing Supporting the Financial Controller across all aspects of the finance function Assisting with month-end close to strict reporting deadlines Preparing and posting journals Completing bank reconciliations Preparing VAT returns and other statutory/regulatory submissions Assisting with the review of weekly and monthly payroll Supporting the continuous improvement of finance reporting processes and procedures Providing ad hoc financial support as required About you Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or an experienced Assistant Accountant Previous experience within a busy finance environment Strong Excel and systems skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities Available to start at short notice What's on offer?
