Assistant Accountant/ Payroll
- Belfast City Centre- £35k

Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-known Belfast City Centre based company. Due to company growth, our client is keen to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant/ Payroller to join their team of a full-time, permanent basis.

Offering a full-time, permanent role, and a salary of up to £35k per annum dependent on experience, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following duties:

Process UK and ROI monthly payroll using Sage for circa 90 employees
End-to-end payroll processing
Post payroll journals, reconcile accounts, and advise employees on pension contributions
Sales ledger invoice processing
Credit Control duties
Purchase Ledger invoice processing
Bank reconciliations
Support audits and reporting
General accounts and administrative duties

Essential Criteria:

A minimum of 2-3 years within an Accounts/ Finance Related role
Payroll experience is essential
IT Proficient to include accountancy software packages

Desirable:

Accounting Technician/ Part Qualified and/or Payroll CIPP qualifications.
Credit control knowledge and experience in administrative support in GDPR and health and safety.
