VAT Manager Location Belfast City Centre | Hybrid 3&2 Salary – Highly Competitive Salary + Bonus + Fast-track development The Opportunity Abacus Careers is recruiting a VAT Manager on behalf of a Leading Independent Firm, offering an excellent opportunity to join an expanding VAT Advisory practice in Belfast City Centre.

This role is ideal for a VAT professional who wants to deepen their technical expertise while taking ownership of sophisticated advisory assignments. You’ll work across complex areas including land and property, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions and wider commercial VAT matters.

You’ll collaborate closely with experienced senior professionals while playing an active role in the continued development of the VAT practice. The firm places a strong emphasis on communication, teamwork and collaboration, alongside ongoing personal and professional development. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and manage complex VAT advisory projects from start to finish.

Advise on technical VAT matters involving land and property, M&A and corporate finance transactions.

Provide expert VAT guidance to internal teams across a broad range of commercial matters.

Analyse complex issues and develop practical, commercially focused VAT solutions.

Work closely with senior VAT leadership to identify and pursue business development opportunities.

Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Contribute to the continued growth and development of the VAT practice.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
