Accounts Manager £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time Stoke on Trent A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke on Trent is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts Manager to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and lead the team around them. Stoke on Trent has a diverse and evolving commercial landscape, and the firm's client base reflects that, giving an experienced manager plenty of technical variety alongside real management responsibility.

Managing a varied portfolio, overseeing accounts and business advisory delivery Reviewing work prepared by junior and semi senior staff for quality and accuracy Acting as a trusted point of contact and building long term client relationships Supporting partners on complex assignments and strategic client planning Leading, mentoring and developing members of the accounts team Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to grow the client base

Required skills and qualifications:

ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong accounts preparation and review background gained in practice At least five years' experience within a UK Practice environment Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team in a practice setting Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting Excellent leadership and communication skills, commercially minded and proactive Benefits:
