We are supporting a new investment platform in the build-out of a new closed‑end infrastructure fund. As part of this, they are looking to appoint a Senior Manager to cover Fund Operations and Governance, taking ownership of fund finance, governance and operational infrastructure for the platform.
This is a newly created, Jersey‑based role sitting within the GP structure, with broad responsibility across fund accounting, investor reporting, compliance and multi‑entity administration in a lean environment.
This is a highly autonomous position, acting as the central operational and finance lead for the fund and associated entities. The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership across a wide remit, working closely with senior stakeholders and external advisors.
Fund Finance & Reporting- Full ownership of fund accounting and reporting for a closed-end fund structure
- Aggregation of performance data from underlying SPVs and asset-level finance teams
- Preparation and delivery of quarterly investor reporting
- Oversight of capital calls, distributions and fund-level cash management
- Acting as primary point of contact for auditors and leading the audit process
- Oversight of day-to-day administration across the Fund
- Coordination of banking relationships, including account management and payment processing
- Establishing and maintaining robust operational processes and controls
- Supporting company secretarial requirements and statutory record keeping
- Oversight of AML/KYC processes, including investor onboarding
- Acting as MLRO (or supporting the function, depending on regulatory setup)
- Managing FATCA/CRS and broader regulatory reporting requirements
- Liaising with external compliance providers and regulatory bodies as required
- Working closely with the CFO and Investor Relations function to build out reporting frameworks and infrastructure
- Supporting the selection and implementation of systems and tools
- Acting as a key point of coordination across internal teams, SPVs and external service providers
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Typically 6–10 years’ experience within fund administration or another fund platform
- Strong experience across fund accounting, investor reporting and closed-end fund structures
- Exposure to compliance, governance and operational responsibilities within a fund environment
- Comfortable taking ownership across multiple disciplines in a lean environment
