Payroll Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well-established and growing organisation based in East Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking to take ownership of a varied, high-volume payroll within a supportive and established team. The role As a Payroll Administrator, you will take responsibility for end-to-end payroll administration, processing multiple four-weekly payrolls for both salaried and hourly-paid employees across a multi-site UK business. Key responsibilities will include:
Processing multiple four-weekly payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines Managing and processing employee timesheets Processing starters, leavers and contractual changes Calculating and processing statutory deductions and payments Responding to and resolving employee payroll queries Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data Ensuring payroll processes remain compliant with current UK payroll legislation Maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality at all times Using Sage Payroll as part of the end-to-end payroll process The ideal candidate We are looking to speak with experienced payroll professionals who have a strong understanding of the end-to-end payroll process and are comfortable working within a busy, deadline-driven environment.

Previous experience using Sage Payroll would be advantageous, although candidates with strong payroll experience using other systems will also be considered. You will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing payroll queries while ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are consistently met. What's on offer?
