- We want to hear from you! Overview An established and highly regarded Chartered Accountancy Practice is looking to recruit a NEW Accountant to join their growing team. Working closely with managers and partners, you'll support a varied portfolio of clients across a wide range of responsibilities.

This is a hands-on role offering exposure to accounts preparation, client support, company secretarial duties and general practice work. This role is Monday-Friday with opportunities for hybrid working. Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed. Duties Prepare year-end accounts for LLPs, limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Assist with the preparation of management accounts where required Prepare and submit VAT returns Support the management of a portfolio of owner-managed business clients Liaise directly with clients regarding accounting records and queries Assist with bookkeeping and cloud accounting software support Prepare working papers and supporting schedules for partner review Undertake company secretarial duties including confirmation statements and Companies House filings Maintain accurate client records and statutory documentation Assist with client onboarding and compliance procedures Support senior members of the team with ad hoc assignments and projects Build and maintain positive long-term client relationships What we're looking for A successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate 3yrs previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.
