The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity for a qualified Audit professional to join an established Audit & Assurance team, taking greater ownership of client assignments and developing towards management-level responsibility.
You’ll work with clients across a variety of sectors, leading audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements and supporting junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Take responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments.
 
* Lead audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical testing.
 
* Prepare and review audit files, ensuring documentation meets required standards.
 
* Produce statutory financial statements from client information.
 
* Identify key risks or areas of concern and communicate these to Managers and Partners.
 
* Manage assignments through to finalisation and senior review.
 
* Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact.
 
* Support the delivery of portfolio budgets, deadlines and profitability targets.
 
* Coach, mentor and review the work of junior audit colleagues.
 
* Work across a varied portfolio of clients and industries.
Ideal Candidate
 
* ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified.
 
* Strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
 
* Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
 
* Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
 
* Experience auditing clients across a range of sectors.
 
* Confident identifying and communicating audit risks.
 
* Previous experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.
 
* Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
 
* Organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
