An established and growing accountancy practice is looking to appoint an experienced Practice Accountant to join its friendly and collaborative team. Responsibilities:
As a Practice Accountant, you will be… Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Producing and submitting Self Assessment and Corporation Tax returns. Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation. Processing payroll and handling PAYE-related matters. Providing clients with day-to-day accounting, tax and business advice. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, responding to queries professionally and efficiently.

Using cloud-based accounting software including Xero, Sage and Quick Books to maintain accurate financial records. Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required. Requirements:
As a Practice Accountant, you will need ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent Have recent experience working within an accountancy practice. Be confident preparing statutory accounts, Self Assessment and Corporation Tax returns. Have a solid understanding of VAT, payroll and general practice compliance. Benefits:
