About the Role As our Graduate, you will work closely with senior members of the team and become involved in all aspects of the Accounts function. You will receive training and support while building practical experience in financial operations, reporting, payroll, controls, and business support. A key responsibility of the role will be taking ownership of the company's payroll function, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities Assisting with day-to-day accounts operations Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments Managing sales ledger activities and customer invoicing Supporting credit control and cash collection processes Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records Assisting with month-end reporting and management accounts preparation Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities Producing financial reports and analysis for management Maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation Leading the payroll process, including data preparation, processing and reporting Ensuring payroll compliance and liaising with external payroll providers where required Supporting audits and regulatory reporting requirements Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and systems Working collaboratively across departments to support business growth What We're Looking For A recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications A desire to develop a long-term career in finance and accounting Desirable Previous placement, internship or work experience in a accounts-related role Knowledge of accounting systems
