Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Your New Company A well-established and highly successful business is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to play a key role in financial reporting, business analysis, process improvement, and operational decision-making within a fast-paced environment. Your New Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the wider business through insightful analysis and continuous improvement responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting reporting schedules. Reconciliation of key balance sheet and control accounts. Monthly stock reconciliations and investigation of variances. Treasury management, including cash flow monitoring and liquidity management. Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Reviewing overhead expenditure with departmental budget holders. Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit requirements. Providing support and guidance across credit control activities.

Identifying and enhancing internal controls and financial processes. Leading finance and cross-functional process improvement projects. Partnering with stakeholders across the business to drive operational efficiencies. What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this role, you should have:
Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent qualification. Alternatively, at least four years' experience in a similar accounting role. Strong financial and management accounting knowledge. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience with in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential. What You'll Get in Return Competitive salary and benefits package.
