The Management Accountant will join an established finance team who are renowned for their high performance, to be considered for this role it is essential to have previous experience in a similar role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the management accounting function of an assigned business unit. You will work closely with the wider finance team to ensure completion of month end accounts, in line with agreed timelines.
Initially this is a 15-month contract role, however, depending on performance, there could be an opportunity to secure a permanent contract. Interviewing immediately. About you Qualified/Qualified by Experience Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details Previous experience in a management accounting position Excellent communication skills to liaise with non-finance staff Available at short notice What you'll do Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting Lead key elements of the month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including regular reforecasts Produce variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods, providing commentary on key movements Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge For further information on this job, or any other Accountancy & Finance job in Belfast or Northern Ireland, apply via the link or contact Dan Morgan for a confidential chat today.
