Downey Osborne is working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join its specialist fund accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of fund accounting and financial reporting across a portfolio of investment funds, while building client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members. What's on Offer Competitive salary Hybrid working Private medical insurance Pension scheme Annual salary review Bonus Parking About You ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified Experience in fund accounting or investment fund financial reporting Strong technical accounting knowledge Experience preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial statements Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and client relationship skills Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues About Your New Role Always Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements for investment funds Oversee fund accounting and financial reporting across a portfolio of funds Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and reporting requirements Manage client relationships and deliver reporting within agreed deadlines Maintain accurate financial records and effective accounting controls Often Liaise with clients, auditors and professional advisers on fund accounting matters Review fund accounts and financial reporting deliverables Support and mentor junior team members Investigate accounting queries and resolve reporting discrepancies Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls Occasionally Support complex fund accounting and financial reporting queries Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies Assist with the development of team knowledge and technical expertise Never Compromise on financial accuracy or reporting standards Clean the office windows
