Newly Qualified Accountant

A well established and highly regarded organisation within NI is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join its finance team in Newtownabbey. The Role Working as part of a professional finance team, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and providing financial insight across the wider business. Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Preparation and analysis of financial information for senior management. Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities. Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances. Supporting statutory reporting and audit requirements. Providing financial analysis and commentary to support business decision-making. Assisting with the development and improvement of financial processes and controls.

Working closely with colleagues across the wider organisation to provide financial support and insight. Supporting ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required. About You A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Strong academic and professional accounting credentials. Experience gained within practice, industry or a combination of both. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.

The ability to analyse financial information and communicate findings clearly. Strong organisational and time-management skills. A proactive and commercially minded approach.
