Management Accountant

Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making across the business. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts within reporting deadlines Completion of balance sheet reconciliations Detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts Preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly KPI reporting Assisting with monthly forecasts, projections and annual budget preparation Responsibility for VAT submissions and statutory returns Providing cover across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions when required Supporting the development and enhancement of management information and financial systems Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across finance, operations and senior management teams What You'll Need to Succeed Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA, IATI qualified, or qualified by experience Previous experience within a management accounting or finance role Strong Excel skills with confidence analysing financial data Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work effectively within a close-knit team environment Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving Desired ERP system knowledge
