THE EMPLOYER IS: M.E. SUPPORT NIThe Administrative Support Assistant will provide essential administrative and clerical support to help M.E. Support NI operate efficiently and deliver community-based projects. The role will involve maintaining accurate records, assisting with correspondence, and supporting day-to-day operations.

- Provide general administrative support including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and online enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of participants, sessions, and volunteer activity.
- Assist with preparation of reports, meeting notes, and documentation for funders and trustees.
- Update and organise digital files using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
- Support scheduling of meetings and events, including booking venues and preparing materials.
- Assist with maintaining and ordering stock of stationery and supplies.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection and safeguarding policies.
- Undertake other reasonable administrative tasks to support service delivery.
- Good general level of education, including English and Maths at GCSE (or equivalent).
- Confident in the use of computers and common office software, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake relevant training.
- Previous experience in an office, community, or voluntary organisation (paid or voluntary).
- Experience of maintaining filing systems or databases.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint or Teams.
- Knowledge of basic safeguarding or data protection principles.
- Interest in health, wellbeing, or community-based work.
