Belfast City Hospital is looking for a friendly and reliable Band 3 Clerical Officer/ Receptionist to be the face of our service and deliver excellent care from the very first hello.

About the Role Welcome and register patients, families, and visitors, ensuring everyone receives a warm, helpful, and professional service. Manage face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries efficiently, providing information and direction as needed. Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially on electronic systems, upholding trust standards and data protection policies. Support the clinical team with administrative tasks-booking follow-up appointments, coordinating patient transport, and relaying important messages.

What We're Looking For Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills. Professional and compassionate approach-especially when supporting people in difficult or sensitive circumstances. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and to prioritise tasks independently. IT competence and keen attention to detail.
