Position: Administrator / Receptionist

Overview

Receptionist role at VANRATH, a global leader in survival and safety solutions. This is a Permanent position based in Dunmurry
, in office.

Shifts are Monday - Thursday (8.30am - 5.00pm) and Friday (8.30am - 2.00pm).

Salary

£26,000 (room for negotiation) + fantastic benefits package and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a professional and welcoming reception service for all visitors, including greeting, assisting, directing, and notifying relevant colleagues of arrivals.

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls, handling and directing enquiries efficiently and professionally.

  • Manage telephony systems and building security processes, ensuring all access controls, guidelines, and procedures are followed.

  • Ensure the reception area is clean, safe, and presentable at all times, promptly escalating any safety, security, or facilities issues.

  • Maintain site directories, meeting room bookings, equipment schedules, and car parking reservations, ensuring meeting and site protocols are adhered to.

  • Support local site communications, including visitor information displays and public announcements where required.

  • Support fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures in line with site requirements.

  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.

  • Promote and role-model organisational values, contributing to an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative working environment.

  • Actively support a safety-first culture, promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all.

  • Develop personal capability through training, coaching, and ongoing professional development.

  • Relevant working experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work effectively
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident working with telephony systems and basic office technology
