3 Donor Administration Assistants required to work with the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service based in the Belfast City Hospital.
This is a full time temporary post for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension. The hours of work will be 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £12.51 per hour.
The main duties of the role will include:
- Maintaining security of all equipment, and documentation, within own area of work
- First point of contact for donors via the telephone or in our HQ Clinic
- Use of NIBTS Donor records system to access donor’s records and make changes where required
- Reconciliation of all donation records, and reporting any anomalies to the appropriate person
- Undertake any other reasonable, relevant duties that may be assigned
- Minimum of 1 years’ clerical/administration experience, which MUST include working face to face with the public
- 4 GCSEs at A-C level, including English Language (or equivalent)
- To be able to provide excellent customer service
- Proficient with computers
- Weekly Pay
