Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
- Schedule staff and manage administration duties for a regional area
- Maintain holistic overview of regional scheduling and support operational area
- Act as overall support function for operational area; manage shift, absence, and coverage
- Maintain scheduling of all employees, ensuring delivery of contractual & temporary hours, holiday planning, absence management, and swift resolution of unplanned absence
- Conduct call book with sites and provide administrative support with scheduling databases
- Update information for joiners, induction training, rosters, leavers, absence
- Provide support and advice to security officers during working hours
- Deliver financial control by producing cost‑effective employee work patterns and accurate reports
- Ensure schedule delivers customer requirements, budgeted revenue and margin
- Support administrative team in managing workforce queries and making outbound calls to fill shifts
- Respond to last‑minute scheduling changes; reactively and proactively work with Ops Support Manager and wider operations
- Ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements including SIA, working time directive, scheduling & procurement
- Demonstrate teamwork across departments to share best practice
- Perform other activities as reasonably required
- Experience with office technology & software (Microsoft, clerical and administrative procedures)
- High level of tact & integrity; confidentiality handling
- Ability to work on own initiative and influence contacts
- Confident, well presented with excellent attention to detail
- Adaptability to demanding, busy environments; manage complex situations
- Flexibility and problem‑solving skills
- Fluent in written & spoken English
- Previous scheduling experience
- Good numerical reasoning
- Experience with workforce management / T&A systems
- Commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement
- 5 years checkable work history
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU
- Ability to analyse & interpret data
