Food Technical Administrator

F/T Permanent Food Technical Administrator required for locally homegrown business based in Belfast. My client is seeking an experienced and organised Food Technical Administrator to join their busy Technical team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment. Duties will include:
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Technical team Maintaining and updating technical documentation, specifications, and records Assisting with customer and supplier documentation requests Supporting audits, compliance checks, and quality assurance processes Ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with company and industry standards Liaising with internal departments including Production, Quality, and Procurement Filing, data entry, report preparation, and general office administration duties Supporting the management of traceability and product information systems Assisting with investigation records, corrective actions, and non-conformance reporting where required

Essential Criteria :
Previous experience in a similar Food Technical Administrator or Technical Assistant role within the food industry is essential Good understanding of food safety, quality, and compliance documentation Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Word Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Hours of Work Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm & Friday: 8:00am 3:30pm Salary & Benefits £29,000 £ 30,000 per annum Paid breaks Lunch provided daily Permanent, full-time position For further information contact Tanya Lyttle at Gen Tech Recruitment on to discuss further.
