Medical Receptionist; pw

Reporting to the Practice Manager my Client based in East Belfast require a part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent

Duties:

• Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
• Answer all telephone calls
• Answer repeat prescription line
• Passing on results to patients
• General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
• Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients and other duties may be added as required

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact)
• 4 GCSE’s @ grade A – C inc English & Maths or equivalent
• Fully computer literate
• Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Flexibility to cover sickness & holiday
• Available asap
• Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given

17.5 hours pw – Mon 8.30am - 1pm, Thurs & Fri 10am – 5pm (some flexibility in start & finish times on Thurs & Fri if required)

Salary £13.31 per hour
