At Gloucestershire County Council, we are committed to supporting children, young people and families to access the right help at the right time. The Children and Families Commissioning Hub play a key role in ensuring high-quality services are in place to meet local needs.
We are looking for a number of organised and proactive Administrators to join our Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential administrative support that helps ensure families can access timely financial assistance and support when they need it most.
Responsibilities- Processing applications and maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Managing enquiries from professionals, partners and service users.
- Supporting the monitoring and administration of funding allocations and expenditure.
- Maintaining electronic filing systems and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Producing routine reports and updating spreadsheets to support service monitoring.
- Arranging meetings, taking notes and providing general administrative support to the team.
- Working closely with colleagues and partner organisations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supporting compliance with data protection, governance and audit requirements.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and able to manage a varied workload with confidence.
- Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Be confident communicating with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing.
- Have strong attention to detail and be committed to maintaining accurate records.
- Be comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and administrative systems.
- Have good IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
- Be able to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
- Have a flexible and professional approach to supporting colleagues and service users.
- Be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy environment.
Previous administrative experience is essential. Experience of working within local government, children's services, commissioning or a funding-related environment would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
