Coordinating recruitment campaigns, including vacancy management, interview scheduling and preparation of recruitment documentation. Supporting placement allocation processes and liaising with key stakeholders regarding trainee placements. Administering assessment and review processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete and distributed within required time frames. Organising meetings and committees, including agenda preparation, minute taking, action tracking and follow-up. Coordinating induction events, training programmes and educational activities.
Arranging venues, speakers and resources for meetings, training sessions and events. Maintaining databases, information systems and training records. Managing enquiries from a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Supporting reporting, data management and departmental projects. Assisting senior managers with administrative and operational activities as required. This position offers a varied workload and would suit an organised administrator who enjoys coordinating multiple activities while working to deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have: GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent, plus 2 A Levels (or equivalent qualification), together with at least 18 months' relevant administrative experience; or a minimum of 3 years' relevant administrative experience. Experience working within a busy office environment carrying out administrative duties. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience maintaining systems, databases and records. Ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Desirable experience includes:
Coordinating events, meetings or training sessions. Committee administration and minute taking. Financial administration, including invoice or payment processing. A full UK driving licence and access to transport is desirable to support operational requirements. What you'll get in return Band 4 pay scale: £14.05 per hour Immediate start opportunity. Full-time hours (37.5 hours per week). Monday to Thursday: 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm. Initial contract of up to 2 months with the possibility of extension.
