Job Summary We are seeking a highly organised and proactive ERP & Purchasing Administrator to support our fast-paced manufacturing and production environment. This role is responsible for processing purchase orders, invoicing, data entry, and ERP system administration, while also providing buying support to the Production Department. The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities Process customer and supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Raise, process and monitor purchase orders, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Provide buying and procurement support to the Production Department, sourcing materials and liaising with suppliers to meet production schedules. Consolidate purchasing requirements and maintain accurate purchasing records. Maintain and update ERP system data, ensuring accuracy across inventory, purchasing and supplier information.

Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and customers to resolve purchasing or invoicing queries. Monitor order progress and communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders. Produce reports and assist with general administrative duties as required. Support continuous improvement of administrative and purchasing processes. Skills & Experience Essential Accounts or finance administration background.

Previous experience in an administrative role within a busy office or manufacturing environment. Experience processing purchase orders and invoices. Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent IT and systems knowledge, with experience using ERP systems highly desirable. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.

Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Previous buying or procurement experience (not essential). Experience supporting production planning or purchasing activities. Personal Attributes Highly organised and methodical. Reliable, flexible and proactive. Strong problem-solving skills.
