Job Description

We are looking for an organised, proactive and dependable Company Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of Eloquent. This is a varied and trusted role covering Academy administration, venue enquiries and bookings, company operations, Board administration and practical support for the Founder and Directors.

The Company Administrator will often be the first point of contact for learners, parents, clients, venue customers, Board members and external partners. They will be responsible for responding to enquiries, managing applications and enrolments, maintaining learner records, coordinating timetables and programme logistics, monitoring attendance and supporting clear communication with families, tutors and clients.

The role will also manage venue hire enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation. This will include arranging viewings, preparing quotations and invoices, maintaining the booking calendar, tracking payments and paperwork, and coordinating access, equipment, layouts and customer requirements.

Governance responsibilities will include coordinating Board meetings, preparing agendas and papers, taking accurate minutes, maintaining action logs and keeping confidential governance records organised and up to date.

The postholder will also manage shared inboxes, calendars, filing systems, databases and routine financial records; liaise with suppliers and contractors; support recruitment and onboarding; and help improve company processes. They will provide practical support to the Founder and Directors by coordinating meetings, preparing documents, tracking priorities and following up on agreed actions.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. They must be confident using digital systems, able to work independently and committed to handling sensitive information with discretion.

Job Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administration, coordination or operational support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using email, calendars, spreadsheets, databases and digital filing systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work independently, use initiative and solve problems.
  • Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with different stakeholders.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Reliable, proactive and committed to completing tasks.
  • Experience in the arts, education, youth or community sector is desirable.
  • Experience with venue bookings, governance, invoicing or learner administration is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work on-site and occasionally support evenings or Saturdays.

Monday, Weds, Thurs and Sat

£25,000 P/A

37.5 hours a week

  • Maintain confidential records and ensure deadlines are met.
