Purchasing Administrator/ Accounts
- East Belfast Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly successful manufacturing organisation based in the East Belfast Area. Our client has an exciting new role for a Purchase Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining efficient operations by handling purchase orders, invoicing, data entry, and ERP system administration, alongside providing essential buying support to the Production Department.

Day-to-day of the role:
Process customer and supplier invoices accurately and promptly. Raise, process, and monitor purchase orders, ensuring all details are correct and current. Provide buying and procurement support to the Production Department, sourcing materials and liaising with suppliers to align with production schedules. Maintain accurate purchasing records and consolidate purchasing requirements. Update and maintain ERP system data, ensuring accuracy in inventory, purchasing, and supplier information.

Perform high-volume data entry focusing on precision and attention to detail. Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve any purchasing or invoicing issues. Monitor order progress and communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders. Produce reports and assist with general administrative duties as required. Support the continuous improvement of administrative and purchasing processes Essential:
Background in accounts or finance administration. Experience in an administrative role within a busy office or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in processing purchase orders and invoices. Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent IT and systems knowledge; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable. Outstanding organisational and administrative skills. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.

Confident communicator capable of building effective working relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Benefits:
