VANRATH are delighted to be working with a respected public body seeking an experienced Data Administrator to join their operational team.

What's in it for you?

  • £13.75 per hour
  • Initial minimum 3-month temporary assignment
  • 37-hour working week (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm)

You'll be joining a professional organisation in Belfast, supporting the delivery of key operational services through accurate administration, data management and customer-focused support.

About you

  • 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English and Maths, or an equivalent/higher qualification
  • Alternatively, 2 years' relevant administrative or clerical experience
  • Previous experience working within an administrative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience maintaining databases and administrative records
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines
  • Professional and customer-focused approach

What you'll do

  • Provide a professional information service via telephone, email and in person
  • Input, update and extract information from databases
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems and administrative databases
  • Prepare, format and distribute reports, letters and publications
  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Support meetings, seminars and events with effective administrative assistance
  • Complete administrative transactions and ensure information is processed accurately
  • Produce reports and information from existing systems
  • Provide support to colleagues and customers across the organisation
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with organisational policies, procedures and quality standards
