Temporary Part-Time Administrator
Location: Belfast
Hours: Part-Time (flexible on days)
Pay Rate : £13 -£14 p/h
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Part-Time Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our busy engineering business. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the management team, engineers, and customers, ensuring efficient office operations and excellent customer service.
This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the engineering and management teams.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and customer enquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
- Process quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Update and maintain company databases and records.
- Assist with scheduling engineers, site visits, and project documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as required.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate meetings and maintain diaries where required.
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Support health and safety administration, including maintaining training and certification records.
- Assist with stock control and ordering office supplies.
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support the business.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
