Tate are looking for a well-organised and proactive Senior Administrator to join a national public body dedicated to protecting, championing and celebrating England's historic environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to support specialist teams whose work helps people understand, value and care for historic places, while contributing to high-quality research, advice and technical services. You will help develop practical processes, manage information clearly and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure services are responsive, consistent and professional.

Role responsibilities
  • Project coordination, procurement support and effective administration across the department.
  • Work with technical conservation and procurement colleagues to scope requirements, assess options and agree compliant procurement routes.
  • Create and maintain procurement documentation, programmes and progress tracking tools.
  • Prepare final contract documentation and support the issuing of contracts.
  • Develop clear desk instructions and practical processes for contract operation and review.
  • Support information management improvements, including shared drive review and preparation for SharePoint Online.
  • Provide responsive, high-quality administrative support across the department.
  • Maintain and refresh relevant web content to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.

You will be confident working with information, communicating clearly and building positive working relationships across teams.
