Temporary Receptionist - Two-Week Assignment
Location: Lisbrun Road, Belfast
Contract: Temporary - two weeks
The RoleOur client, a well-established professional-services organisation, is seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to provide front-of-house and administrative support for a two-week period.
You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, helping to ensure the office operates smoothly and everyone receives a welcoming and professional service.
Key ResponsibilitiesWelcoming clients and visitors to the office
Answering, screening and directing incoming telephone calls
Managing general email and in-person enquiries
Taking accurate messages and passing them to the appropriate team member
Managing incoming and outgoing post
Preparing meeting rooms and keeping the reception area presentable
Completing scanning, filing, photocopying and data-entry tasks
Providing general administrative support to the wider team
Handling client information professionally and confidentially
Completing other reasonable office duties as required
Previous reception, administration or customer-service experience
Professional and confident telephone manner
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word and general office systems
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Available for the full two-week assignment
Previous experience within a professional-services or office environment
Experience managing a busy switchboard or reception area
The successful candidate will be friendly, reliable and professionally presented. They will be comfortable dealing with clients, handling confidential information and supporting a busy office team.
