The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking with customers, following up opportunities, keeping records up to date and helping the wider team keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. They will also have experience in the medical sector. Your Responsibilities Handling incoming telephone calls, emails and general customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Making proactive telephone calls to existing and prospective customers to introduce products and services, identify opportunities and arrange further contact where appropriate.
Maintaining accurate records of customer conversations, enquiries and sales activity. Supporting the processing of customer orders, including checking details, monitoring outstanding items and keeping customers updated. Liaising with couriers, suppliers and colleagues to help resolve delivery or order queries. Providing general administrative and sales support to members of the wider team. Assisting customers with basic website queries and helping new customers get set up with the company's services.
Maintaining customer information, internal records and databases accurately. Supporting the smooth running of the office, including monitoring stationery, kitchen and general staff supply. Carrying out other administrative duties as required to support the business.
What We're Looking For Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A confident and friendly telephone manner. Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, telesales or administrative position. The confidence to make outbound customer calls and follow up potential opportunities. Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills. Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks. A positive, flexible approach and willingness to support colleagues across different areas of the business.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience using CRM, ERP or other business systems would be advantageous.
