Your RoleA Strategic Partner Driving Commercial Growth
As a member of our Belfast-based Sales & Business Development Team, you will become a trusted advisor to senior leadership and to our clients. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building strong relationships, and shaping the commercial strategy of our business.
Responsibilities- Business Development & Account Management: proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop a network of potential clients and industry contacts, and manage a portfolio of smaller clients independently. Contribute to the creation of business development strategies and assist in resolving complex client issues. Work to achieve goals set out by growth plans and hit agreed SLAs.
- Commercial Focus: participate in discussions on pricing strategy and service enhancements, collaborating with senior team members to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Stakeholder Management: engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, actively manage complex relationships and provide input into strategies for optimizing stakeholder engagement.
- Customer Excellence: independently handle client interactions, anticipate and address potential concerns, and seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through consultative engagement.
- Collaboration:
actively contribute to cross‑functional collaboration, and share insights and best practices to enhance team performance. - Communication: present ideas and updates effectively in meetings and client presentations, adapting your communication style to match the preferences of different stakeholders.
- Decision‑Making: make informed decisions independently, participate in decision‑making discussions, and demonstrate a growing ability to handle ambiguity and make sound judgments under pressure.
- All‑Around Performance: perform high‑quality critical activities supporting teams across various service areas. Participate in and facilitate daily activities, meetings and reviews, engaging with Huron peers through various communication channels daily.
- Personal, Team & Business Unit Development: work on upskilling in areas agreed with your manager for in‑role development, complete mandatory and advised training from the BU and Corporate Services, seek out opportunities to facilitate professional development, and assist with training and ad‑hoc support for more junior team members when required.
The profile we're looking for: a consultative sales professional.
- Experience:
2+ years of relevant experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, particularly within a professional services or consulting environment. - Professional
Qualifications:
strong educational foundation, degree preferred. - Knowledge: strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape, with knowledge of the financial services industry and awareness of laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Capability: remain composed under pressure, strong research, analysis, problem‑solving, and relationship management skills; adapt to changing priorities and maintain high‑quality output.
- Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills, build and maintain strong client relationships, communicate with clarity and confidence to stakeholders.
- Technical
Skills:
confidence and experience using Microsoft products (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
