OverviewInformation Reporting Analyst – £39,931 per annum. This role blends data analysis, process improvement and cross‑functional collaboration to optimise supply chain performance at Short Brothers, a Boeing Company. The analyst will use analytical methods to understand, predict and enhance results, identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements and support decision making.
Principal Accountabilities- Produce monthly forecasts of material spend for the next month and quarter, evaluating programme delivery status and modelling associated spend patterns.
- Monitor actual spend against forecasts, analyse major differences, reconcile with budget and rationalise deviations.
- Monitor attrition levels.
- Produce the annual material budget for all contracts using procurement, programme and contract data and MAXIM system stock, WIP and lead‑time information.
- Provide system and BoM analysis capabilities for internal and external functions.
- Support development and implementation of new systems.
- Essential
:
Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, IT, Engineering) and at least 2 years of experience using various data analysis techniques and tools. - Strong Microsoft Office skills:
Advanced MS Excel, MS Access (database creation, queries, macros), MS PowerPoint and a working knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic. - Ability to work unsupervised, quickly understand new processes or methodologies and analyse and resolve complex issues independently.
- Desirable
:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar analyst role, SAP S4
HANA knowledge, manufacturing or purchasing environment experience, and experience developing reporting and KPIs.
