The Role Manage supplier relationships and identify opportunities to reduce cost for purchasing requirements for the business Ensuring procurement processes align with company quality, cost and delivery objectives Analyse market trends to identify opportunities and risks within categories Developing strategies for sourcing, supplier management, negotiation and supplier relationships Negotiate prices, terms and lead times with suppliers to achieve best possible results that meet company needs Monitor supplier performance whilst addressing and resolving any reoccurring issues as quickly and efficiently as possible Continually challenge and improve upon current practices and procedures Manage and maintain stock levels and investigate any issues that may arise Support and implement category and commodity strategy
