About the role
You will work within our B2B Team with a remit to manage, plan and monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of contracted provision to a high standard. This role will manage all deliverables associated with the company's funded education and training contracts. In this role, you will work with multiple departments across the company to ensure contracts move quickly and smoothly from creation to negotiation to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for robust day-to-day management of contracted delivery working directly with managers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Understand contract deliverables fully and ensure delivery complies with relevant funding rules and governance framework.
- Adopt a continuous improvement, informed approach to ensure contract delivery always meets the needs of the learners/employers.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy to ensure compliance with external audits.
- Maintain, produce and manage accurate financial forecasting, budgeting and performance-related reports for Senior Management and external partners.
- Responsible for identifying issues that might impact on contract delivery and taking the appropriate action, which entails supporting the development of remedial action and manage this through to conclusion or escalate as appropriate, to resolve and mitigate risks.
- Responsible for managing and developing relationships with stakeholders to support ensure successful contract fulfilment.
- Work with Head of Learning Ops and Student Experience Manager to ensure contract deliverables are fulfilled.
- Support and actively contribute to OFSTED preparation.
- Gather, analyse and use data to make informed decisions to enhance company growth.
- Manage resources effectively and critically evaluate performance regularly.
- Review contract performance, evaluative performance and implement improvements.
- Represent the Company at Contract meetings with stakeholders.
- Support and drive business development.
Skill Set For this Role
- 2-3+ years experience in contracts management
- Proven time management and project management skills
- Great communication skills, including the ability to actively listen
- Have a willingness to learn and be challenged
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders on multiple projects
- Comfortable working in a high paced, data-driven environment

KPIs
- Win rate: The percentage of bids won out of the total number of bids submitted is a critical KPI for contract bid managers. It is a measure of their ability to develop and submit successful bids
- Proposal quality: The quality of the proposals submitted by the contract bid manager is another essential KPI. This includes factors such as adherence to the RFP (Request for Proposal) requirements, compliance with regulations and policies, accuracy of pricing, and quality of the written content.
- Time to submit: The contract bid manager's time to submit a proposal is also a crucial KPI. The faster the turnaround time, the better, as it indicates efficiency and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
