Market Weighton Practice is a well-established GP practice serving the residents of Market Weighton and surrounding communities. The practice is dedicated to delivering accessible, patient-focused healthcare, with a emphasis on continuity of care and community engagement. The practice works closely with partner organisations so patients benefit from integrated multidisciplinary healthcare services.
Experience Essential criteria- Significant experience working within primary care.
- Experience of leading service redesign, quality improvement, or transformation programmes.
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working.
- Experience of clinical governance, patient safety, and risk management.
- Experience of working collaboratively with PCNs, ICBs, or wider healthcare partners.
The postholder will be expected to contribute to:
- Improved patient access and continuity of care.
- Delivery of agreed transformation programme milestones. Improved workforce utilisation and productivity.
- Increased achievement of QOF and commissioned service performance.
- Enhanced clinical governance and quality metrics.
- Adoption of digital and AI-enabled solutions. Improved staff engagement and organisational culture.
- Delivery of a financially sustainable and clinically effective service model.
- Registered General Practitioner with a licence to practise and current GMC registration.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Strong clinical leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into service improvements.
- Strong programme management and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timescales.
- Formal leadership or management qualification.
- Experience of CQC inspections and regulatory compliance.
- Experience leading digital transformation projects.
- Experience of financial recovery or sustainability programmes.
- Understanding of primary care contracts, QOF and Enhanced Services.
- Knowledge of NHS transformation priorities and neighbourhood-based models of care.
- Understanding of workforce redesign and multidisciplinary team development.
- Knowledge of digital transformation within healthcare settings.
