What you would do as our Product Manager

As Product Manager Residential Access, you will be responsible for managing selected products and software within the Yale Residential Access portfolio across the EMEIA region. You will own all aspects of the product lifecycle, ensuring that products evolve successfully through every stage while delivering market-leading solutions, excellent customer experiences and long-term value for the business. You will work closely with regional teams, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Quality and Manufacturing partners to ensure product success from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.

This position reports to the Head of Product Unit Residential Access
- Yale EMEIA. Willingness and ability to travel regularly within this role is important.

Location

This role can be based at one of the following locations:
Willenhall (UK), Woking (UK), or Malmö (Sweden). Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office. Therefore, we encourage applications only from candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance of one of these locations and are able to meet the office attendance requirement on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product management of selected Yale Residential Access products and related software solutions across EMEIA.
  • Define product positioning, product narratives and business cases in collaboration with regional stakeholders and R&D teams.
  • Identify portfolio gaps and develop generation plans that support growth, portfolio simplification and brand consolidation across the Residential Access category.
  • Participate in and influence product strategy execution by analysing competitor offerings, market developments and global Smart Home and IoT trends.
  • Gather and translate customer, sales and market requirements into product features, use cases and launch requirements.
  • Act as the business and customer representative throughout the product development process.
  • Drive continuous product improvements and cost-reduction initiatives in collaboration with the VAVE Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, certification requirements, regulatory standards and the Gateway Process, securing approvals at each stage.
  • Plan and execute successful product launches together with Product Marketing and regional Marketing teams, ensuring high-quality packaging, documentation, launch materials, on-time delivery and budget adherence.
  • Provide accurate product information to support E-commerce and PIM teams and ensure products are correctly positioned across digital channels.
  • Build product knowledge within the organization and provide technical guidance and support where needed.
  • Act as a key liaison between R&D, Quality and Manufacturing teams to resolve product quality issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Travel regularly throughout the region to support stakeholder engagement, collaboration and deployment of product initiatives.
